Stine Goya is always the favourite amongst most bloggers and magazines which means a whole lot of people attends this show. This also mean that 9 out of 10 times we need to wait up to 45 minutes to see the show. This time I was lucky to stand inside the City Hall which meant I didn't freeze my ass off as those waiting outside in the cold.

The collection focused on the bestsellers and signature styles or fittings like so many other brands have done in the coming seasons. The colours were mainly black, grey, off-white and dusty colours like yellow, mustard, orange and bordeaux. The one all over print seemed a bit boring and not as colourful and creative as past collections, it looked like broad pinstripes in different shades of grey and yellow. Though the full print of trees in a dark red landscape really expressed the feeling of nature which also was the inspiration for the collection. A white and black pin stripe and golden dots as well as embellishment were also to be found in the collection.

I must say I like Stine Goyas summer collection the most as it seems they have a lot more colour, creative prints and in general is a bit more playful.

If I ever had around 4000€ just for fun I would buy this table, its amazingly functional and Danish designed -what's not to love!!!

The table is designed by Sigurd Larsen, a Berlin based Danish architect. The materials are local oak wood and a traditional eastern German brass lock type and keys. A perfect table for all your little dirty secrets or just stuff you like to keep away when having people over.

I always like to visit Gallery fashion fair as they seem to represent the most progressive designers in Scandinavia, though some seemed to have disappeared this season-maybe the crisis really is having its take on the fashion business, which several of us noticed both on the fairs, show schedules etc.

This season it was also difficult to find the brands at Gallery, apparently both FASR and Bjørg Jewellery present at Gallery though I never saw any of them at the fair and I didn't have the time to go back again to search for them.

So my visit were primarily at Danish Blake and Swedish Cornelia which were two good visits with new cool products!

Two new pieces from Cornelia for AW12. I love the mix of wood (properly birch ), leather and copper and the colours. The bracelet is definitely a Must Have for me -a circle, a square with triangular shapes and two different materials -what's not to like!

TEKO

TEKO is my school and I am so proud of its new and up and coming designers. They have really transferred these boring mainstream, high street designers into something highly creative with visions and high sense of detailing.

Once again they have delivered a great show with many interesting designs though it is easy to see they have all been working in the same environment, all have a little of the same inspiration which is not bad at all. I don't have the names and couldn't find them online, so please let me know so I can credit the designers.

Complex Simplicity

This collection is really fantastic, I like the almost Vilsbøl de Arce inspiration with the geometric folded shapes on hips, shoulders and around the body. The colour use is also great, the bright yellow is really beautiful and add some flavour to the green and white.

I really like this collection even though it is not really my style. But the collection is really rounded and fit very well together. Its classical with a modern twist, the colours are nice and the use of chiffon gives it a sexy twist to the high collars and long lengths on sleeves, dresses, pants and skirts.

VISION/Terminal 2 Show

This show was properly the most creative of those I saw this season. Though the show was a bit too long and due to a second too long break between the sets half the audience were ready to leave, though the bright eye would have noticed the entrance list had way to many left to the show to be finished. The break actually made it all for the show, suddenly some guys in white working/painter jumpsuits started to spread out fake snow and give out rum toddy's for the audience. A couch were also placed in the beginning of the catwalk. With the sound of the theme song of Bold and The Beautiful (or was it Dallas?), the stage and the couch were taken by winter dressed models with a bit of a snobbish styling which suited the theme very well. The catwalk began, snow was falling and the cutest dog, a Saint Bernard walked down the walk with all its fashion!

I love that bright yellow still is trendy and to find in the AW collections!

Tabernacle Twins

"Bridge of twirls"

Once again Tabernacle Twins gave us an look into the colourful, patterned and illuminate world of the twins. The shapes were recognizable and the patterns as well, different but still the same signature as before. The colours were toned down in different shades of earth and nature colours like yellow, orange, red, green as well as the mandatory black and white. The collection were were loose in its fitting only the leggings seemed to be the really fitted items. Big chunky knits and oversized scarves also dominated some styles though perfect for this Siberian cold we have in the moment.

Anne Sofie Madsen

Anne Sofie Madsen is an very inspiring young Danish designer which have huge international potential if not also for haute couture with her creative details and aesthetics. She mixes creative and fun prints with amazing almost braided details and fringes in her styles, it seems like she is designing for a modern tribal warrior queen. Her inspiration for this collection is also from the half skeleton, half human Inuit goddess of the underworld, Sedna. Which must say fits very well with my assumption.

Her fabrics are delicate in a mix of silk, chiffon, leather as well as bones(fake?) and pearls.

The clothing is not all for everyday use and even not really for autumn winter unless you are not in western hemisphere. Though some pieces can be used like the knitted sweaters, blouses and jackets and few dresses especially together with more warmer styles.

I must say this is an designer I really would like to see in action, how she works and get her ideas into products and she is definitely one to watch.

I know I need to save up some money to get some of her styles like the chiffon blouse with a tribal face, a necklace, tie die dress or pants and then I would top it up with one of those cool detailed dresses.

Romours says that a webshop will open up March 1.

She has done it again! She has made yet another beautiful knitted collection with cool drapes, knitted strings and braided details. She sees to have made her own signature style which I really like, its Nordic and warm as well as fashionable.

The colours were black, white, curry yellow, bright blue, military green and grey. This season she has also made a cool tribal like pattern for both dresses and leggings, this is a great way to add something extra to the collection besides the braided details and knitted strings. The collection consisted of cool sweaters, cardigans and dresses, patterned or detailed leggings.

I have definitely found some favourites I will be looking after for the coming winter season.

Happy New Year everyone!

I hope you had a good 2011 and came into 2012 well!

My next year will properly have a lot to do with my masters degree (a Danish 2 year degree candidate) and hopefully a job, so that I can save up some money for shopping, travelling and some for savings.

One of the things I will be looking for this year would be a tablet though properly not a iPad but another one. Therefore I hope the below cases would fit other tablets as well because these cases are pretty fine! A mix of them would be even better!

I have just found this amazing artist when googling around for another artist DoverD and then this other Dover; Amy Dover came up in my image search in a blog post at SOLONGASITISBLACK. Wow she is absolutely amazing, I love the detailed animal drawings especially the Hare with the top hat and beard. It's funny how industry damaged I am, as I already can see these drawings on clothing as well!

I am not really into shopping centres and especially not the new ones but Fields does actually have some unique shops and I have just found out that British Warehouse and Oasis are situated there. Both shops have a student discount (which I really like!) You get 20% off on Warehouse and 10% off on Oasis which is a great discount as their prices aren't that high anyway, so you can actually get some pretty cool and fashionable clothes for a fair amount of money.

You can follow the stores on Facebook and see the new arrived items as well as read about events, sales and other relevant news. They also give you the opportunity through Facebook to write you up to clothes which is such a great service, so you don't have to hurry to the store for a sold out item!

And remember the sale starts tomorrow the 27th, so hurry into Fields and get some new clothes at Warehouse and Oasis on discount! I have been looking at the below products for a while:

I won this fantastic Normann Copenhagen Air plane at their Christmas Calender Competition and I love it! Of course it had to crash my small sized Christmas tree,which of course environmentally correct still was with roots and in a bucket with soil.

I have just ordered these cool items for myself, call it my own Christmas present. Well as I am travelling south east after my exams in the beginning of January I needed a senile string for my sunglasses first of all because I find it rather cool and because I have a tendency to put away my things and lose them. The bracelet I just ordered because t was easy just to push the button while I was on the site ;) And they do have free delivery until Christmas, so why not save the money? And I have been looking at this bracelet for some time and find it beautiful and feminine, really Asian so it will fit my travel as well!

The year is soon ending and how great it has been for this blog. So many people around the world has dropped by. Though I don't have the biggest ambition for this blog in the beginning I still hope that people respect my blog, onions and style. A new brand has been born this Autumn in Copenhagen, the people behind is Maria Leonhardt and rumoured Martin Munch (former and current designer of Punk Royal) and the Brand name is Blake Copenhagen. Already now their t-shirts are to be found at designer shops like &Pagne and Youheshe. I must say I am really impressed with their print and can so easily see the Paris Texas/Maria Leonhardt take on the design and I love it. It's dark and mysterious as well as delicate and feminine. The clothes seem more simple with cool details like draping and cut outs-all in black just in style with Maria.

I am really looking forward to see how they will continue the brand and evolve their own look, in the moment it seems a little safe and I hope they will work more on the print as it can be a really strong brand look for them, I would love bigger print, more dark and macabre prints and all over prints on silk.

I am hoping for either one of the skull or "butterfly" t-shirts for Christmas!

I have really not been fair to you without giving any notice or posts in the last ten days! But I have just started my exams and they really fill up my calender. Not that I wont use some time on something completely else than exams but then Christmas is also around the corner!
Well, when this said, I do really look forward for some holiday which I am going for in January in Sri Lanka and hopefully it will be relaxing and filled with sun, adventures and cocktails as well.
And after seeing this recipe and image of the cocktail I can't wait for it!

Strawberry Shag

Fresh basil lends a fun flavor note to the classic combination of strawberries and lemonade. Soda water introduces a lively sparkle.

Makes 1 drink

1 to 2 large sprigs fresh basil
1/4 cup Sugared Strawberries with juice (recipe follows)
1 1/2 ounces vodka
1 ounce fresh lemon juice
3 to 4 ounces chilled soda water

For garnishing: fresh strawberry, small basil leaf

In a cocktail shaker, press the basil and strawberries together with a muddler to release the basil’s flavor. Fill the shaker with ice. Measure in the vodka and lemon juice. Cap and shake vigorously. Pour into a large glass, top with soda water, and stir. Garnish with a strawberry and basil leaf.

Sugared StrawberriesMakes enough for about 6 drinks

1 pint fresh strawberries, stemmed and thinly sliced
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar

Mix the ingredients and let sit for 15 minutes before using.

I really like to make these light figures on photography but I am not that trained yet. Especially not like these guys, the character on the two below images is so cute and I would actually love to have a print of the photo it would fit nicely at my apartment. The images are taken from this site.

The same guys featured this campaign for Asics on their blog and hey that's a pretty cool campaign, I really like when things are made interactive, it gives something special to the brand and the brand experience for the customer or just the viewer of this campaign. Let's make more of this!

I love this styling, it's so native and fun looking. I would love to have that wolf like furry hood with pockets and the native patterned body con dress. Actually when surfing around at the furry hooded site, you can actually become several different furry animals and you will actually when buying one of them support the animal through different organisations. I like the concept!

I like when shops really do something about their packaging, Berg uses these new and very functional tote bags with their simple name on it as well as outside pockets for the bill.

You do also get a personal postcard when buying in their online shop, which is really nice and costumer friendly!

Lascivious, a English online shop for underwear and accessories has a interesting visuel identity- it's dark with ornaments together with the more sensual and sexual name.

The underwear is delicately wrapped in silk paper with a purple satin lace, a postcard with one of the commercials featured which would be great for the man buying the underwear for his lover, wife or girlfriend!

I love graphics and totally wish for having the ability to make them myself, though I must admit to myself this is not really my strong side. I guess I am more into seeing the cool detail, finding the inspiration and working as a project manager rather than being the actual creative hands on kind of guy. Though I would of course be able to come up with the ideas, concept development etc. but do the actual visuals....wow I could keep going on here about what I can and can not do. Well I hope you get my point?

Well I just visited a cool Danish company called Make where one of the creatives where using these two following sites for inspiration Craig and Karl and Always With Honor. And what cool sites they are, though I did actually already know Craig And Karl from the cool Darcel character (which I totally love) and work with Colette.

Both companies are highly creative and have a unique look in their works. I think both companies can give any graphic artist, creative, designer or any other working in creative businesses loads of inspiration on how to capture a visual identity, create a visual moment or character etc.

Inano restaurant and bar in Soho London is an interesting place to visit when travelling in London. It's oriental fusion kitchen with focus on Japan in both styling and food. The ordering are done by a electronic almost iPod like interface on the table and a projector that features the chosen food and/or background for the table. A very modern restaurant with cool bar with delicious as well as beautiful looking cocktails.

I already want to go to London just for a bite and a drink!

Origami Jewellery

Most people know that I love everything about Japan and I have been working on origami several times before especially the crane. So when I went by Berg shop at Østerbro to see if there were any new interesting products I was happily surprised to see jewellery from Origami, a French brand specialising in Origami looking accessories. I really like their coloured rabbit but also the classic cranes.

New interesting products at Bolia. I really like the coffee table as I am one of those people who has so many things and need places to hide them away and with this table I could hide small coffee table stuff in the drawers without leaving a mess. The ReThink storage idea I like because it is reusable material and I actually like the look of it, it would do great in a living room for storage smaller stuff, it also only tolerates 15 kg, so it can't really be for heavy books, more everyday and displayable stuff like gadgets, vases, candlelights etc.

Licorice war

Licorice is really gaining some respect in these days and never have there been some many cool and fashionable brands to make candy and licorice. One of the best of licorice making for me has been Johan Bülow as he has mastered the force of making interesting licorice and not plain sweet licorice. Another new player is Black Lakrids which has the same price range as Johan Bülow, who also makes interesting licorice products and a cool packaging but has fewer ranges in moment at least. I hope to see even more new products to make new tastes and approaches to licorice.

I love Christmas and everything about it, though I know this is pretty early and I am not into early Christmas commercials and stuff but I just saw these at the website I just posted on the blog. I find these baubles so cute and fine, I would love to have some of them like the reindeer, spot the dog and the twiggy snowman. The song quote ones are also fine and the possibility to make your own baubles are also great idea, I could think of other quotes and maybe design my own prints for them.

A really great concept to make your tree more modern or fashionable.

I just noticed this amazing ceramic webstore with Japanese inspired design and funny new everyday ceramics you didn't even know you missed or needed?

I love the small sake glasses, the basket and the cute breakfast train, though the last is a bit pricey. I also love the bowl with golden cracks, especially because I just broke my most favourite bowl and really need a new one.

I love the way bl33n has made their website, it's so fashion and kinky and I really like the product images of the opposite printed t-shirts. I like the graphics of these voodoo like faces, though I would properly never myself be flashing...or maybe I would but not for everybody ;)

Buy the t-shirts here in their shop, I am not sure if you can buy the other places, but it seems like the delivery cost for Denmark is the same as the price of one t-shirt, so it would be nice it one could buy some place other with a lower delivery rate.

Our Exquisite Corpse has been cooperating with the Huichol people of Mexico by making hese amazing beaded handcrafted skulls. They are being curated and presented by LN-CC. The skulls are not only art but a piece of history of the Huichol people and the traditions of the Day of Dead in Mexico.

H&M launces a "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo" collection November the 28th, the collection will have a exclusively debut at the fantastic boutique Colette in Paris on November 28. Trish Summerville, the costume designer on the latest version of "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo" is the designer behind H&M's new range, which features lots of dark colours as well as leather, denim and washed cotton.

The collection will be available from December 14 in Divided departments in around 180 H&M stores worldwide, as well as online.

Isabel Marant is quite new in my fashion world and I mainly noticed her because of her cool footwear. But looking through her SS12 collection I did find some products in my taste for example the cool silver knitted tank and sweater as well as the little bohemian native looking vest.

I really find this mango dresss apealing, though I properly shouldn't wear something as tight as this, but I am thinking I could use this over some pants and adding a vest of big scarf to cover myself up a bit. Because I really asymmetric cut in the upper body and the mesh and polka dotted part. And it does remind you of the cool Stella McCartney dresses from the catwalk.
